The International Maritime Solid Bulk Cargoes Code (IMSBC Code) categorises solid bulk cargoes into three groups; Group A, Group B and Group C.

A Group C solid bulk cargo are those which are neither liable to liquefy (Group A) nor possess chemical hazards (Group B). Cargoes in this group can still be hazardous. If unsure the relevant authority should be contacted regarding the solid bulk cargo in question.
